Redundant categories?[edit]

What is the difference between "Antennas", "Antennas (radio)" and "Radio frequency antenna types"? Articles about the different kinds of antennas can be found under all three, seemingly in random. Am I missing something? Regards, Adamantios (talk) 09:46, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Somebody didn't know what they were doing, in a past year. All should be abolished, except the presentCategory:Antennas and their contents moved to this one. I suggest making a request in Wikipedia:Categories for discussion. Jim.henderson (talk) 03:35, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I suggested merging of Category:Radio frequency antenna types to Category:Antennas and Category:Antennas (radio) to Category:Antennas. The discussion is here Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2008_September_14#NEW_NOMINATIONS. Later on I suggest renaming of Category:Antennas to Category:Antenna (radio). It is more appropriate according to the naming conventions and avoids confusion with other kinds of antennas (like those of arthropods). Adamantios (talk) 16:37, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
