Spot welding doesn't belong in the Arc Welding category as it isn't a form of arc welding. Spot welding uses high current to generate heat. The weld is achieved by a forging process as opposed to arc welding which uses an electric arc to melt and fuse metal. Squoip (talk) 18:00, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
