Untitled[edit]

What about including William of Orange (William I, William the Silent), who was assassinated by Balthasar Gerards? He certainly was a de facto politician if not officially so. He was also voted the second Greatest Dutchman in a recent poll in The Netherlands (somewhat controversially Fortuyn ended up ahead of him).

I don't know any other assassinations but there might be more than just these few?

Ok, clearly he should be added to the list... so I just went ahead and made the edit to the article for William the Silent. Erik75 21:07, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
