coverage[edit]

The category now includes five Excelsiors, Jim Creighton and four major leaguers.

Brainard 1860-66, Crane '66, Creighton '60-62, Cummings '66-67, Hodes ??, Pearce '66.

Crane and Pearce played part of one season during their long tenures with the Brooklyn Atlantics. Creighton, Brainard, and Cummings were the regular pitchers in succession.
