Untitled[edit]

Note: It was decided to make other sub-categories rather than using a Canadian social justice activists category. See here for the results of the discussion. Please create Canadian LGBT-rights activists, Canadian free speech activists, Canadian anti-poverty activists, etc, as required instead. If you make a sub-category, please remember to make it a sub-category of Canadian activists by including Category:Canadian activists in the page.

Avoid placing politicians into any activist category unless they have done some form of notable activism outside of their elected office (preferably noteworthy enough to justify a stand-alone article in the absence of political fame). Politicians are easily found through other categories and all politicians or their supporters would consider themselves to be advocates on the side of good works. Otherwise, the categories will become too large and lose meaning. Deet 15:19, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
