If you make a sub-category, please remember to make it a sub-category of Canadian activists by including Category:Canadian activists in the page.
Avoid placing politicians into any activist category unless they have done some form of notable activism outside of their elected office (preferably noteworthy enough to justify a stand-alone article in the absence of political fame). Politicians are easily found through other categories and all politicians or their supporters would consider themselves to be advocates on the side of good works.
