Category Talk : Gold Compounds

I would like to add potassium aurocyanide (potassium gold cyanide; KAu(CN)2) under "gold compounds". This is the most important gold plating compound. It is formed by the anodic dissolution of metallic gold in a solution of KCN. A cathode bag made of a cation exchange membrane prevents plating on the cathode.
The corresponding sodium compound is formed in leaching of gold ores with solutions of NaCN. It can be extracted from the leach solution by adsorption on activated carbon ("carbon in pulp" process).
