Category:Goldfish breeds vs Category:Goldfish[edit]

Note to editors. I created this Category:Goldfish breeds as a subcategory of Category:Goldfish to be consistent with other pet animal categories, just as poodle belongs to Category:Dog breeds rather than Category:Dogs or British Shorthair belongs to Category:Cat breeds rather than Category:Cats. However, after moving the goldfish breed articles into this category, the Category:Goldfish is left with no articles other than goldfish itself. Personally, I doubt that there will be any new non-breed goldfish articles in the near future. But since I am not an admin and can't delete pages, I left it just the way it is. If you are an admin and would like clean up the categories, I'd suggest deleting the Category:Goldfish and move up this Category:Goldfish breeds to be directly under Category:Carp in replacing of the Category:Goldfish. --Melanochromis 23:41, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
