How is this different from Monarchs of Canada?[edit]

This only includes heads of state of Canada since confederation (1867), i.e., since it was its own country. The monarchs of Canada includes any monarch that has ruled over the territory that is now Canada, i.e., it includes both English and French monarchs dating back to the 16th century.
