Hello, fine idea for a category.

However the name is far to long. It makes articles look bad. Category titles need to be zippy - three words at most.

"Black rights movement" maybe?

What was wrong with the already existing Category:U.S. civil rights history? MK2 03:06, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • My guess is that it is an attempt to specify by the civil rights in question (i.e. LGBT struggles is a subheading under civil rights history). But I think ti's still an atrocious name. --Fastfission 03:47, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • Fair enough - it's more specific than the previous category. But I agree that we need a name change - African-American civil rights history, maybe? MK2 05:57, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • The "16th Street Baptist Church Bombing" needs to be moved from the "C" category that it's currently in. It belong beneath the "1" category, possibly integrated with the "16th Street Baptist Church" link.
