Definition of Iranian Plateau[edit]

This term refers to a geological formation extending from East Azerbaijan province in north-west of Iran to Pakistan. It should not be confused with the modern nation-state of Iran, since it does not cover all of Iran. See here for more details [1].Heja Helweda 23:32, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
