It's unclear to me what the criteria are for "Novels by X" to be included here. Is it necessary that all of X's novels are LGBT-themed? A majority of them? Or just any of them? Pinging category creator @Bearcat:. Colin M (talk) 14:17, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The writer is LGBTQ-identified and at least some of their work is explicitly LGBTQ-themed for the purposes of being categorized as LGBT-related novels. (Thus, it wouldn't include the "Novels by author" subcategories for straight writers who happened to have written an LGBT-themed book or two, or for LGBT-writers whose work never contained any explicit LGBT content.)
