Untitled[edit]

The districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi were unified for a long time. For ease of administration, they have been split into two. Political administration is just about the only category under which they are separate. They are extremely similar in terms of language, culture and geography. Hence this category was created. But I agree that this category does not conform to the wikipedia rules for geographical categories. The actual region (Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and the adjoining Kasaragod district in Kerala) comprise what is called as the Tulunadu region, based on the Tulu language that is spoken in those parts. I suggest that this category be renamed as "Tulunadu stubs".

We can, of course, work on a suitable stub template to make all the stubs uniform. But I request that this category NOT be removed.
