Lists of historical markers in New York (state)?[edit]

Shouldn't this category be called 'Lists of historical markers in New York (state)?' As apparently individual historical markers are not permitted. Should there be another category for articles that are not lists? @DanTD:, what do you think? --Nessie (talk) 16:05, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No, because it's not really a list page. And I know there are people trying to restrict permission to use them, which is scary if you ask me. What should happen is that more of these images should be moved to the commons. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:09, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So no images, but all that's left are lists of the historical makers for each county. Pages like Jan Van Loon House are not included. --Nessie (talk) 16:14, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That's why I removed it from the category. The image of it is already in the Greene County list. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:42, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
UPDATE - I'm actually starting to see your point on this, but I think we should wait until all the images of them are moved before any effort to rename the category is taken. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:50, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
