This is a case somewhat similar to that of Manding languages in West Africa in that it is a subgroup of tongues that are closely related and to a large degree interintelligible. My thought in setting up the category is to facilitate accessing these languages as a group (it is already possible to access them individually or in the enormous category of Bantu languages.--A12n 20:44, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
