Parent categories[edit]

Continuing the discussion from Talk:Scientific method, it should be settled that scientific method is not a parent category of peer review. However, it is also revealed that most parent categories here is not generalization(i.e. defining characteristics) of peer-review. All but Peer-to-peer seems relevant and 63.251.123.2 suggests that it can be Peer-to-peer communication. --14.198.220.253 (talk) 00:25, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for bringing this here. I'm slightly confused by your edit, though. My suggestion was to remove all but Category:Peer-to-peer and Category:Scholarly communication. Your edit only removed Category:Scientific method, which I still consider at least as related as the other parent categories. I've now applied my full suggestion; I wish you had actually replied, rather than merely again reverting to your preferred version. 63.251.123.2 (talk) 18:24, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
