Move[edit]

Why the move from "People from Gouda" to "People from Gouda, South Holland"? Because of the village in South Africa of the same name? Founded in 1929, none of its crop currently has a wikipedia entry yet. I'll have to assume then that the move was to separate Gouda citizens from people born in / created from a particular type of cheese. Afasmit (talk) 21:40, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Addendum: since the cheese comes form the city of Gouda, the category "People from Gouda, Cheese" should become a subcategory of People from Gouda, South Holland, as soon as we've found pages to populate it with. Afasmit (talk) 02:34, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Afasmit, the people category should follow the main category, which should follow the city name, so this entire discussion should be held at the current city name. As you mentioned elsewhere, the city name isn't free of problems. gidonb (talk) 07:37, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
