Following the 1929 season, the Panther football team played in the Rose Bowl against the Southern California Trojans. A number of the players on that team have not been listed among your list of Pitt Football Players. Among them, my father, Ernie Lewis, a guard on that team, Eddie Baker, the quarterback and captain of that team, Mike Milligan, a guard on that team, Jess Quatsie (sp) a tackle on that team and Toby Uansah (sp). There are others but I don't know who they are. All of the men who I have just named have passed on. This was an important team in Pitt's history. At the time, the Rose Bowl was the only bowl game there was. Pitt lost that game, 41-14. You might wish to make the corrections in your list. Don Lewis, Myrtle Beach, SC

This is not a comprehensive list of all football players for the Panthers, but instead a list of notable people (i.e. those who have an article on Wikipedia) who played for the Panthers at one time. Therefore if you wish to add you father and the others they need to have their own articles, providing they comply with WP:Notability.--Jackyd101 (talk) 06:16, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
