Meaning of this category[edit]

What does this category mean in relation to Category:Political theories? Isn't an ideology a theory in which people place their beliefs? I am trying to make better sense of the categories:

I am concerned that the category designations may be unnecessarily complicated because of poor definition. Since this talk page did not exist, I am adding a "request for comment" since it was obviously not on anyone's watch list.

I agree. I would like to organize things generally under the Category:Theories. Invariably, whether or not there is a movement, a believer, or a system there is a theory. Pontiff Greg Bard (talk) 21:07, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
