Why do we not have neighbourhoods or localities in...(name of county). A lot of the "villages" and "hamlets" listed are neither they are just modern neighbourhoods and most just meet UK:PLACES notability for own articles (i.e. are OK, should not be deleted)...I would probably having studied WP:UKPLACES prefer localities as that suggests meeting minimum criteria of notability for own article. Contrary to what some writers are doing in the Home Counties, not every neighbourhood of a village just as hardly anyone walks to the main part of the village any more, is its own village or even a hamlet, a hamlet is a dying word in those places or dead mostly there.- Adam37Talk 16:42, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
