Category Name Change?[edit]

There is a category with the name Category:Coastal cities in Canada, and another very crowded category Category:Coastal towns in Canada. I'm thinking about changing this category's name to Category: Major ports of Canada, as the current ports listed here are all major ports. Let's leave this up for at least a week and see if we'll get more inputs. I'll post something on the Wikipedia:Canadian Wikipedians' notice board's page. LG-犬夜叉~ 22:03, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The only problem with that is that all of the other port cities categories are named this way (Port cities in location). Technically they don't have to be major ports to be included here, it must have just happened this way. Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 23:05, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There may (or not) be a reason as to why the name ought to be changed, but the suggested name is not as clear or useful. It does not take much to determine what is a port city. It can be a matter of opinion whether or not a port is "major". Too subjective a name. Agent 86 22:24, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
