The language name "serbocroatian" is heavily politically compromised.
We shouldn't use this name. Kubura 11:43, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That language exist, you only want to argue — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.42.187.252 (talkcontribs) 11:57, 26 June 2007

I'm not a coward that hide behind anonimous IP's in order to avoid block because of 3RR rule.
Why don't you show up under the username, that you normally use on en.wiki when contributing regularly?
Wikipedia is not a chickenhouse. Chickens belong there. Kubura 08:53, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are also a coward, because you can be anyone, somehow you are hiding in anonimity too. You are racist (you consider being a serbian an insult), fascist and you do not respect anyone's opinion you should have an everlasting blocking — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.36.73.115 (talkcontribs) 00:09, 28 June 2007

Please block this user at once —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.41.171.78 (talk) 23:32, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted this, because in that version cannot stay.
Telling to a Croat, that his language (Croatian) is "Serbocroatian", is a heavy insult to him.
Times of "Serbocroatism" are the times of rule of Serbian suprematism (in linguistics) over Croats, and times of violent language policy of imposing of "joined", "common" language development of Croatian and Serbian language, at the expense of Croatian, policy that had as a goal the reducing/degrading of separate Croatian language to a level of "western dialect" of "common language".
If you don't know what it means, than don't mess into this topic. Don't make wars using categories (don't use categories to "go around" to avoid discussions and spread your POV about this topic), while that topic is richly discussed and explained on the corresponding articles and talkpages.
In fact, few days ago, was the anniversary of Declaration on the Status and Name of the Croatian Standard Language, document signed by top Croatian writers and cultural activists. Wikisource has full text. Kubura (talk) 14:13, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
