Software Companies vs. Consulting Companies[edit]

there a lot of companies in the category that appear to be more VARs or Consulting companies than software companies. For example, Avanade. Now they're certainly not hardware companies, but I can't derive that they actually produce any original software, although they may implement or sell other companies software. Is there a consensus as to whether this category refers only to companies the produce original software, or any company in the supply chain of a software purchase?Cander0000 19:33, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
