Abandonware as a form of software distribution[edit]

Is abandonware a form of software distribution? A piece of software is classified abandonware because of lack of official distribution. Regarding unauthorized distribution, warez is not mentioned as a gategory either. evktalo 12:27, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Software as a Service[edit]

I think it would be a good idea to have category for including software packages that are sold as Software as a Service. I think it would be logical to have it appear underneath Category:Software distribution. SaaS is a rapidly growing segment, and it's an important attribute. As this segment grows, I'd imagine it might even gain some subcategories. Any thoughts? --Smiller933 (talk) 13:42, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
