Authors' categories[edit]

Richhoncho: I don't understand why you removed the categories Songs with music by Leonard Bernstein and Songs written by Stephen Sondheim. Are they not? I realize that those categories are currently applied to the song articles themselves, but in my view of the categorization scheme, WP:SUBCAT specifically, they shouldn't be, but categorized here. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 02:20, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe I'm a bit dense, but I don't understand how your reasoning (musicals) applies to the 3 categories in question:

Songs from West Side Story – all of which are:
Songs with music by Leonard Bernstein
Songs written by Stephen Sondheim

All 3 categories deal with songs, and the the 2 songs-by-authors categories apply to all WSS songs. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 01:00, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
