Bernard Bierman was born in 1908 in NYC and has contributed over 200+ songs to the American Songbook in that time. Still alive today and writing witty lyrics and catchy melodies from his Manhattan apartment, Bernie has touched the lives of entertainers throughout the World.

I am posting this on wikipedia with the hope that other FOB ("Friends of Bernie") will contribute information about him, his life, his work, and his music.
