============[edit]

Are you trying to say that these are songs are written or co-written by Frank Beard? Francine was written by Steve Perrone and Kenny Cordray. ZZ Top recorded the song, got it on the charts, took credit, and didn't give the real writers credit. One of the writers (Steve) died right away and Kenny tried for years to get his money. Kenny finally got some of the money, but not all. Steve's widow stated (in 1984) that she hadn't received any moneys, but it's rumored that she may have gotten some later. Later (decades later) the credits were changed to add the names of the true writers. This is well known by real rock journalists. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Texasman444 (talkcontribs) 01:08, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Francine was a copy and paste from La Grange, including writers, dates and categories. Now amended. All the other songs on this list are credited to Beard at BMI, which is pretty much the required criteria to be listed in the category. Rumors and accusations are not relevant, but can be added if verified. Cheers.--Richhoncho (talk) 01:58, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
