On March 31, two F3 tornadoes hit Athens, Georgia and Mauldin, South Carolina. On May 10, an F3 tornado in Willard, Ohio killed 6 and injured 100. On June 16, an F3 tornado hit Towson, Maryland and possibly the northern edge of Baltimore causing one death and four injuries. On August 16, an F3 tornado touched down in Blythe, California and on August 19, one or more tornadoes struck Republic, Michigan. On September 1, an F2 tornado struck International Falls, Minnesota. On June 16, an F2 tornado hit Marydel. On December 20, an F3 tornado struck Homestead, Florida. On June 15, an F3 tornado caused near-F4 damage in Leonard, North Dakota.
