There were several significant tornadoes on March 20, including three rated F4 in Ash Grove, Indiana, Tolono, Illinois, and Farmington Hills, Michigan. On March 21, 1976 an F3 tornado hit Chambersburg, Pennsylvania with an F2 in Ridgely, Maryland. The deadliest tornado was an F3 in Jacksonville, Arkansas which killed 5 people on March 29. Also on March 29, an F4 tornado killed 3 and injured 177 in Canton, Mississippi. On August 13, an F2 tornado hit Wells, Maine.--Kevjgav (talk) 18:04, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

On May 15, an F4 tornado struck Newport, Tennessee. The same storm system that spawned the Jordan, Iowa F5 tornado on June 13 also spawned an F4 tornado in Lemont, Illinois and on June 29, an F4 tornado struck Dunlap, Illinois.--Kevjgav (talk) 22:27, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
