Christian[edit]

Unitarian Universalism has its roots in Protestant Christianity, and therefore I thought it seemed reasonable to include this category as a subcategory of Category:Christian universalists. It is true that adherents may or may not self-identify as "Christian". I placed it in this category but it was removed without explanation. To make such a categorization is untrue. UUs are not, by definition, Christian (or Jewish or Hindu, etc) as a whole. While individuals may self-identify as such, and while the origins of the religion certainly comes from Christianity, Unitarian Universalism is a post-Christian religion. - UtherSRG (talk) 22:27, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Makes sense to me. Good Ol’factory (talk) 03:34, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
