What puts PD-CAGov in this category? I see nothing in the content of the template that does so. (I would copy it here, though I suppose I could add it; I'm curious...--{{U|Elvey}} (tc) 19:42, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I believe it gets it from the doc subpage: Template:PD-CAGov/doc (which is what it says at the bottom of Template:PD-CAGov). TLSuda (talk) 23:06, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that's it. Thanks. Doesn't make sense to me to have them there, but the template documentation page boilerplate suggests it's the right place. This is the source of that boilerplate. Seems confusing and nonsensical. I'll ask about it at its talk page, which is Template_talk:Documentation.--{{U|Elvey}} (tc) 07:20, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't think that it made sense either. It is what it is I guess. TLSuda (talk) 15:05, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, Redrose64 provided a rather good explanation after I asked about it. So I created the doc page for PD-MAGov and added the category there.--{{U|Elvey}} (tc) 20:06, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
