Purpose?[edit]

Not that anyone is watching this page, but are these categories really appropriate for multi-lingual websites? I can understand it for bilingual websites, and Category:English-language websites is likely to be hopeless here on en.Wikipedia, but what are these categories for? — Arthur Rubin (talk) 22:11, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Most categories are the same as their equivalent in Category:Websites by country[edit]

So shouldn't all websites copied over in the categories here? Or maybe is that category even useless as basically websites by country also have that country's language (which is a single on for most countries)?
