Name?[edit]

Should this category be called "Category:World War II sites on the National Register of Historic Places"? ----Another Believer (Talk) 03:34, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Personally, I don't care for the idea of using "sites" for this category, because that's just one of 5 categories of NRHP listings (buildings, districts, structures, objects, and sites), and this category is intended to include any of the 5. And although buildings, structures, and districts could be fuzzed into a more generic definition of "sites", this category will contain a large number of ships, which just don't intuit as sites. All that said, I suspect the sun will most likely still come up in the morning even if "sites" is added to the category name.... — Ipoellet (talk) 04:15, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK. And sure, not the end of the world, but I just figured it was a typo, being a subcategory of "World War II sites in the United States". ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:50, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
