Chassignieu (French pronunciation: [ʃasiɲø]) is a commune in the Isère department in southeastern France.

Geography[edit]

The Bourbre forms the commune's northwestern border. There is an old and abandoned castle next to the village, the Château de Bellegarde [fr].
