Che with hook (, ) is an allograph of the letter che with descender (Ҷ, ҷ) in the Cyrillic script. It represents the Voiced postalveolar affricate /ʤ/, like ⟨j⟩ in "jump"
Usage
[edit]It has been used for the Surgut dialect of Khanty and the Tofa language.
Computing codes
[edit]Has no Unicode encodement, but the encodement will be decided by the creators of Unicode themselves. Uppercase may be encoded as U+1C8B and Lowercase, may be U+1C8C[1]. As of 2024, it is available in the font AncientSans in Private use area, U+E012 for Uppercase and U+E013 for Lowercase.[2]
