Data Respons was founded in 1986 and grew from a small Norwegian tech startup to a leader in digital innovation, specializing in software development, R&D services, advanced embedded systems, and IoT solutions. The company grew by nurturing a profitable growth-focused approach, expanding its geographic presence across the Nordics and Germany. With 12 subsidiaries located in 18 different locations, Data Respons leveraged its extensive experience to deliver specialized knowledge and innovative solutions in various sectors of industrial digitalization.
In 2019, Data Respons was acquired by AKKA Technologies, which later became part of the Adecco Group in 2021. This acquisition led to a merger with Adecco's B2B arm, Modis, culminating in the formation of Akkodis. Despite the merger, Data Respons continued to operate as a separate business entity until its recent rebranding to Akkodis Group Nordics on March 21st, 2025.
