Deontae Lawson (born February 11, 2003)[1] is an American football linebacker for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Career[edit]

Lawson attended Mobile Christian School in Mobile, Alabama.[3] He was selected to the 2021 All-American Bowl.[4] He committed to the University of Alabama to play college football.[5]

Lawson played four games his first year at Alabama in 2021 and took a redshirt.[6][7] In 2022, he started four of 11 games, recording 51 tackles. Lawson became a full time starter in 2023.[8]
