ARGE Consulting is a Turkish management consulting firm based in Istanbul, providing consultancy services in strategy, governance, sustainability, and quality management.[1]
ARGE is a certified advisory organization of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM)[2][3] and a licensed training organization for Integrated Reporting[4][5] since 2020.
History[edit]
Founded in 1991, ARGE Consulting played a pivotal role in initiating the National Quality Movement in 1998[6][7], and later became the first Turkish signatory of the UN Global Compact in 2002[8].
ARGE has been recognized at the European Parliament with its “Developing Civil Society” project, winning the “Shaping the Future Award” with its commitment to corporate social responsibility in 2002[9][10]. ARGE also has a corporate social responsibility program that encourages its employees to commit one-day a week to pro-bono work for NGOs since its founding in 1991[11].
ARGE founded the non-profit Argüden Governance Academy in 2014 to promote good governance in the public, corporate, and NGO institutions[12][13]. In 2015, the Academy became the first Turkish institution to adopt Integrated Reporting and among the NGO pioneers to do so, globally[14][15].
Serving as the B20 Knowledge Partner for governance and sustainability, ARGE joined the taskforce that proposed key recommendations to the G20 in 2015[16][17].
