A Woman of Good Character is a New Zealand drama film, directed by David Blyth and released in 1980.[1][2][3]
In 1983 Fran Walsh extended the film to tele-movie length as It's Lizzie to those Close.[1][2]
Charlotte Macdonald published a book A Woman of Good Character: Single Women as Immigrant Settlers in Nineteenth-century New Zealand in 1990.
Synopsis[edit]
A young English servant girl from nineteenth century England travels to New Zealand seeking a new life.[1][2]
