Alec Deckers (born 2 May 2000) is a Dutch tennis player.[1]

Career[edit]

Deckers is coached for part of the year by his father, Richard Krajicek.[2] In late 2021, Deckers won his first professional tennis tournament. He won two more the following year.[3] In 2022, he reached the semi-finals of the Dutch national championships in Amstelveen, where he lost to eventual champion Botic van de Zandschulp.[4] In 2022, he trained with the Dutch Davis Cup team.[5]

Personal life[edit]

From Muiderberg,[6] he is the son of former tennis professional Richard Krajicek and model Daphne Deckers.[7] He has one sister. They were brought up with his mother's surname to provide a greater anonymity.[8]
