Alfie Harrison (born 28 November 2005) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Newcastle United.[1]
Career[edit]
Born in Manchester,[2] Harrison joined Manchester City at nine years-old. He signed a scholarship contract with Manchester City in 2022.[3] In January 2024, it was reported an agreement had been reached for him to join fellow Premier League club Newcastle United.[4] Newcastle manager Eddie Howe was quoted as saying he was a "very talented young player and we hope he does really well with us."[5] The transfer was confirmed on 1 February 2024, for a nominal fee, which could rise to £3.5 million, with a 40% sell-clause with Harrison signing a two-and-a-half year contract.[6][7]
