The comapny Allawasaya Textile and Finishing Mills Limited was inaugurated in 1958 by a group of Industrialists in Multan and it was listed on the stock exchange.

The principal activity of the Company is the manufacturing and sale of yarn with an operating capacity of 50,000 spindles in its 2 units located on vehari road Multan. The company has also installed its own Gas Power Generation Plant for the uninterrupted supply of power to its units in order to maintain quality and consistency.

Three companies primarily operate under the umbrella of Allawasaya group.

They reflect adequate financial strength. The board is dominated by the sponsoring families of Mian Idrees Ahmed Sheikh and Mian Muhammad Jamil. A majority stake is owned collectively by the Family of Mian Idrees Ahmed Sheikh who was previously associated with the Maqbool Group and Mian Muhammad Jamil’s family.

The company is also a member of Ministry of Textile Industry ,All Pakistan Textile Mills Association and Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The company has a very high tech laboratory to maintain the high quality control. The company employs a more than a Thousand people. The company is quite successfully in maintaining its ISO 9001:2015 Certification of Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 Certification for Environmental Management System.
