Americus Institute was a school for African Americans in Americus, Georgia. It included secondary education.[1]

Several photos of the school and campus are extant.[2] Manual and industrial industries were included in its program.[3] It was established in 1897. M. W. Reddick served as its principal. It was supported by the Southwest Georgia Baptist Association. It closed in 1932. A historical marker commemorates the aite[4]
