Please rewrite to make specific claims, and cite the sources that specifically support those claims. To aid in reviewing, please consider listing on the talk page, three best sources that you think meet the requirements explained at WP:GNG, when submitting again. • Comment: You cannot cite the Mail, which is a deprecated source. Amazon, Blackwells and AbeBooks are not an appropriate source, as they are retailers. Goodreads is user-generated and therefore not reliable. The same goes for TikTok, YouTube and Vimeo. And a link to a Google search is pointless, as it is not a published source but a portal to sources, and in any case the results will be different each time. All these mean that approx half the sources are no good, which in turn leaves far too much of the content without reliable support. DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:25, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

Andrew Stanley Wallas (born February 4, 1956), a self-described "Modern Day Wizard",[1][2][3][4] is a British businessman, author,[5] psychotherapist, mentor and pioneer in business culture and transformation.[6] He works with individuals and businesses to fulfil their latent potential and is well known as a practising Conscious Uncoupling guru who helps couples to improve their relationship or to ease the complicated process of divorce.[7]

Early life and education[edit]

Wallas was born on February 4, 1956, to Brian Stanley Wallas and Shirley Carol Wallas in Seaford, East Sussex, UK. He attended Lancing College, West Sussex. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Psychology.[6][8]

In 1990, Wallas completed a four-year training in Neo-Reichian bodywork within an object-relations framework. He later undertook the Level 1 process at Oneness University in India, becoming a Oneness Facilitator. He has also completed the Level 2 process, the Oneness Training program, and the Advanced Training program.[6][8]

He combined these years of inner enquiry with his business experience and established a clinical practice working with individuals and businesses to effect change. He specialises in mindfulness and has extensive experience of working with and healing addiction and abuse.[1][9][10]

Business career[edit]

Wallas returned to the business world in 1993, founding an insurance intermediary, Andrew Wallas & Marsh Limited. He applied everything he had learnt and experienced to create a business with a spiritual ethos. He subsequently sold the company in 2004 for £28 million.[6][8]

In 2004, Wallas became Chairman of Martello Underwriting Limited and in 2006, sold the business to Royal Sun Alliance for £37 million.[6][8]

At this point, Wallas took the opportunity to weave the two threads of his life together into a set of principles to bring about business transformation. He created Business Alchemy Limited[11] and began working with organisations and business leaders to help them fulfil their potential.[12][13]

In 2017 he wrote a book, Business Alchemy.[14] Wallas went on to establish an online programme – The School for Business Alchemy.[15][16] This was succeeded by a book focussing on Intention.[17][18] The Financial Times How to Spend it said, “Andrew holds the space for you to reconnect with your inner wisdom. His skill is that he is intuitive but practical. Georgia Coleridge, author of The Chakra Project said, “It is a joy to find a life-changing book that is so clearly and beautifully written. Andrew Wallas distils decades of clinical practice with wisdom and a deceptively light touch."[17]

In 2017, Wallas was asked to undertake a management buy-out of an FCA -regulated financial services company in the City of London, CBC UK Limited.[19] He raised £3.8m to purchase the company and it was sold in 2024 for £180 million.[20] Wallas is Chairman of CBC UK Limited and Chairman and founder of Alchemy Underwriting Limited, a Lloyd’s MGA.[21]

Wallas is a member of the Leadership Initiative Group for the Transparency Task Force, a non-profit organization that collaborates and campaigns to globally increase transparency in financial services. He is a keynote speaker with the London Speaker Bureau.[6]

Wallas is a regular guest on business and wellbeing podcasts speaking on a range of topics from how to grow a business through to love and relationships.[22][23][24][25]
