Angie Gray is an American actress and multi-disciplinary artist.

Gray is known for her work in Matador”(1986) and “The Law of Desire”(1989), both directed by Academy Award winner Pedro Almodovar. Other films include “Duck Dance” which garnered her great reviews and “The Milky Life” in which she starred alongside Marianne Sagebrecht and Mickey Rooney.

Coming from a family of scientists, crazy about Art, Gray used to draw and paint since early childhood. After high school, she attended the University of California, Irvine where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. While at UC Irvine, she also immersed herself in the University's theater and dance programs. After graduation, she continued her dramatic studies in New York and at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in Los Angeles.

Originally starting her professional life as an art director, her work with photographers led to modeling jobs. As she enjoyed more success as a model and actress in Europe, these activities took up most of her time, somewhat relegating painting career to be on the back burner. But she never really stopped, doing mostly works on paper and collages.

Gray has exhibited her works in Los Angeles, New York, and most recently, her explorations have resulted in a several European shows, one of which was at the Autonomous University of Madrid "Climate Change: West Coast Expressionism" a series of large colorful abstract canvases is dedicated to Ms. Gray's concern with climate change, floods, the melting of the poles, and desertification. These works are executed mixing different techniques,including found objects highlighting the presence of signs, that invites the audience to explore beyond the surface.

Angie Gray presently has residences in both Madrid and Los Angeles.
