The Anthony J. Celebreeze Federal building was constructed in 1964 in Cleveland Ohio. It was named after Cleveland's 49th mayor Federal Judge Anthony J. Celebreeze. He was born in a Southern part of Italy and moved to the United States when he was only two years old. He was also a part of the Democratic Party. [1]. The Celebreeze building was originally designed by the firms of Outcluat. This building has thirty-two floor and has a height 419 feet. It is located at 1240 East 9th Street. The building was completely finished in 1967. It is mostly made up of glass and stainless steel. The final design was complete in 1962. With all the underlying construction they estimated the building could be worth 412 million dollar to complete.[citation needed] Overall the Anthony J. Celebreeze Federal Building was built for an important reason which is to consolidate federal services in the city. In any way to help the city be a more organized city. In 1960, Anthony launched he was going to be completing several different building projects, [primarily] a federal building which was named after himself after his death on October 19th, 1998. [2]
