Astronism is a new religious movement founded in 2013 that upholds transcension as its central doctrine.[1] The movement was founded by Cometan in Lancashire, England.[2][3] Astronism's focus on outer space is a result of its official worldview of cosmocentrism and adherents of the movement are called Astronists.[4]
