History and purpose[edit]

The roots of the BARP event trace back to the fan base of the Bubba the Love Sponge Show. The event has evolved into an annual tradition cherished by members of the Bubba Army—a legion of listeners who have formed a community around the show.

From its inception, the BARP event has been a platform to honor and celebrate the most dedicated supporters of the show. Whether through financial contributions of $2400 annually or through their efforts to promote and bolster the show's presence, attendees are the lifeblood of the BARP tradition.

In addition to recognizing the listeners, the event also pays tribute to the creative minds behind the scenes. The Parody Guys, Graphic Guys, and other contributors are members of the BARP family.

Each year, those in attendance are presented with a Super Bowl-style ring personalized with their name.

Furthermore, attendees receive an exclusive invitation to the three-day celebration, interactive experiences, and opportunities to connect with fellow members of the Bubba Army community.

Honoring contributions[edit]

At the heart of the BARP event is the recognition of those who go above and beyond in their support of the show. Special acknowledgment is reserved for the Hall of Fame individuals whose unwavering dedication has helped shape the Bubba Army community into what it is today. Their contributions, whether through financial support or tireless advocacy, are celebrated as pillars of the BARP tradition.

In a gesture of profound appreciation, each Hall of Fame inductee is commemorated with a 3D gold bust made in their likeness. These striking busts are proudly displayed on the wall of the Hall of Fame.
