Bapuji Shinde also known as Bapooji shinde or Bapuji Sindhia was commandar in chief of Daulatrao Shinde in late 1800. His family and past is still a question but he has a bright career in Rajputana against rajput zamindars.

Millitary Career[edit]

Battle of Malpura[edit]

Bapuji Shinde fought the with Lakwa dada in Malpura but due to not much experience the Rajput Army attacked him made him retreat and persuade him until Lakhwa dada sent reinforcements which were able to repulse the Jaipur Army.

Bapuji in Rajputana[edit]

On orders of Shrimant Daulatrao Shinde Bapuji attacked Rajputana in 1808 and defeated the Rajput Rajas in series of Successful conflicts

First Invasion of Jaipur[edit]

In 1808 Bapuji entered Rajputana and in order to extract tribute he send one of his commandar to Jaipur but Marathas were defeated in a pitched battle and were forced to retreat

Second Invasion of Jaipur[edit]

Following the defeat Bapuji himself attacked Jaipur
