In 1856, the Treaty of Paris was signed, ending the Crimean War.[1] Although when the Treaty of Paris was signed, there was no mention of Berwick, so technically Berwick was still at war with Russia. In 1966, a further peace treaty was signed, finally ending the war between Berwick and Russia.[2]
