Big Blue View..[1] is a website that covers news and analysis related to the New York Giants [2], a professional football team in the National Football League’s National Football Conference (NFC) East division. The site was founded in 2007 and is currently a part of the SB Nation [3]network of sports communities, which includes sites dedicated to various professional and college sports teams across the United States, and is owned by Vox Media [4]

Big Blue View publishes news, NFL draft and game coverage related to the Giants. In addition to written content, Big Blue View also produces multimedia content such as podcasts[5] and videos, and the site's community of readers and commenters provides a forum for discussion and debate.

History

Big Blue View was founded in 2007 by Ed Valentine [6], a long-time Giants fan and journalist [7]. Valentine started the site as a way to provide a more in-depth and analytical perspective on the team than what was available in traditional sports media outlets at the time.

The site got its name from the nickname associated with the Giants, who are often referred to as "Big Blue" [8]due to their team colors of royal blue and white. The name "Big Blue View" reflects the focus of the site on providing news, analysis, and commentary [9]specifically related to the Giants.

Content highlights

Big Blue View provides comprehensive coverage of the Giants, with a wide range of content that includes news, analysis [10], opinion pieces, podcasts , videos and more for New York Giants fans. The site's writers and contributors provide coverage of the team's performance, as well as insights into strategy [11], coaching decisions, player development, data-driven analysis and advanced football concepts. There is also coverage of breaking news [12] and rumors related to the Giants, including player signings, injuries, trades, game previews, recaps and sports betting through a partnership with DraftKings[13].

Each April, Big Blue View provides coverage of the NFL Draft [14], including scouting reports on top prospects [15], mock drafts, and analysis of the Giants' draft picks and strategy.

Big Blue View has been mentioned in the following media outlets: ESPN [16], The New York Times, Bleacher Report [17] [18], and Giants.com [19]
